With over three decades in the industry, award-winning architect Blaze Makoid has dedicated his career to designing visionary resort-like homes for his esteemed clientele. Makoid believes in executing concepts that elevate the everyday experience and enhance both the lifestyles and wellbeing of his clients. Since earning his degree from Rhode Island School of Design in 1985, Makoid has garnered international recognition for his work and is the name behind some of the most exclusive homes in some of the world’s most distinct locales.

glen cordova, AIA NCARB 

Partner

Glen Cordova joined BMA Architects in 2011 and has held high-level management positions with the firm since 2014. Glen is a graduate of the School of Architecture and Design at NYIT where he gained the technical and design skills that have helped him contribute to luxury residential projects throughout Long Island’s Gold Coast and East End for more than twenty years. It was Glen’s appreciation for the natural environment that drew him to the design community in the Hamptons. Since joining BMA Architects, Glen has designed and managed multiple award-winning projects while also helping the firm grow from a handful of people to what it is today.

Glen Cordova joined the BMA Architects team in 2011 and has held high-level management positions with the firm since 2014. Glen is a graduate of the School of Architecture and Design at NYIT where he gained the technical and design skills that have helped him contribute to luxury residential projects throughout Long Island’s Gold Coast and East End for more than 20 years.

Lori Beppu, AIA NCARB

Partner

Lori has worked on various large-scale projects throughout New York. Since joining the firm in 2012, Lori has contributed her detail-oriented project management style, technical knowledge, and client liaison skills to lead some of the most complex projects in the firm’s history. With over twenty years of experience in architecture and design, Lori brings keen perspective and insight to each project she is involved in. Having full comprehension of what contributes to a project’s success, she effectively assembles a strong design team and diligently collaborates with clients and consultants through all phases of projects. Her strong commitment to a client and a project as well as a willingness to mentor have been recognized as her strengths.

Matthew LaBrake, AIA NCARB

Senior Associate

Since joining BMA Architects in 2016, Matthew is committed to the creation and development of exemplary architecture. He has managed overseeing and guiding various design teams from project conception through the schematic, design development and construction phases leading to multiple award-winning works. He has served as the Vice President of AIA Peconic and sits annually with other industry leaders on the Architizer A+ Awards Jury. Having studied throughout the United States, Argentina, and the Netherlands prior to receiving his master's in architecture, Matthew draws from his travel experiences to influence his work and has become an integral link between the Hamptons and Miami.

Billy Imperiale, AIA NCARB

Senior Advisor

Billy has over twenty years of experience working in the Architect and Design Sector. He provides a sounding board, guidance, and mentorship to all staff with a focus on project management and design. As Senior Advisor, Billy oversees the day-to-day coordination of projects, which includes direct client contact, progress reports, scheduling, weekly budget reviews, and supervision of work in progress. Serving as a liaison between staff and principal, Billy’s skills in communication and collaboration have guided our team through various successful projects.

Anthony Aversa, AIA NCARB

Director of Operations – Miami

Since obtaining his Master of Architecture from Roger Williams University, Anthony has gained ten years of industry experience working on a wide range of prominent international and domestic projects.

Jonathan is well-versed in the intricacies of documenting and constructing complex projects, often with multiple phases and schedule and site constraints. Jonathan received his Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania.
